Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
At Mythical India Tours & Experiences, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received. To ensure fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:
- 30 days or more before tour departure: cancellation fee of 25% of the total tour cost
- 15-29 days before tour departure: cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour cost
- Less than 15 days before tour departure: cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour cost
Cancellation of flight tickets: flight tickets booked are non-refundable, unless stipulated otherwise by the airline. Name and date changes can be considered as per the rules stipulated by the airline.
Cancellation of wildlife safaris: wildlife safaris booked at any wildlife national park/sanctuary are non-refundable; even a date change request will be considered as a cancellation and no payment can be refunded or offset against it.
If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced, we are not obliged to make any refund for any unused services. If you fail to join a tour, or join it after departure, or leave it prior to completion, no refund will be made.
Cancellation Due to Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances
In the event of cancellation due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, we can offer you a choice of:
- a 100% credit of monies paid for your tour; or
- a refund minus unrecoverable costs.
If the cancellation due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurs after your tour has commenced, we can offer you a choice of a pro-rata:
- 100% credit for the remaining days of your tour; or
- refund minus unrecoverable costs for the remaining days of your tour.
“Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances” shall be understood to mean any event beyond our or our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare, acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), industrial disputes, labour strikes, fire, chemical or biological disaster, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions which make it impossible to travel safely to the destination or remain at the destination.
When determining whether or not cancellation rights for unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances have arisen, we consider the advice of national authorities. However, this is not the only factor we take into account in determining whether these cancellation rights have arisen.
In the event of any such cancellation, there will be no claim for damages by either party against the other and we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including but not limited to, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
